Research Units
AgroParisTech jointly coordinates 23 joint research units (UMRs) and one research and development unit.
These units can involve the CNRS (the French National Center for Scientific Research) and other higher education institutions. They are primarily built around work with INRAE (the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment) and CIRAD (the French Agricultural Research Center for International Development), both of which work in the same fields as AgroParisTech and share its research objectives—explaining their desire to work on joint projects.
