International Credit Mobility
March 23 2022International Credit Mobility (ICM) projects support mobility between different countries in the Erasmus+ program and partner countries. AgroParisTech is involved in two ICM projects for the 2014-2020 Erasmus+ program—one with Tunisia and one with Kenya—as part of consortia with other French partners.
An ICM project can involve one or more of the following activities:
-
Incoming and outgoing study abroad opportunities for higher education students (studies, internships, or combined mobility);
-
International teaching and staff exchange opportunities (lecturing, incoming teaching/training, outgoing teaching/training, or combined mobility);
AgroParisTech is currently participating in two International Credit Mobility projects.
Six different higher education institutions are involved in this project: Agrocampus Ouest, AgroParisTech, Institut Agro Montpellier, and ENSAT (National School of Agronomy of Toulouse) in France, and the INAT (National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia) and ESIAT (Higher Institute of Food Industries of Tunis) in Tunisia. For the four French institutions, this international recruitment program conducted in concert with a top-tier Tunisian higher education institution corresponds to the needs of their international development strategies. The aim is to achieve greater internationalization in the recruitment process while optimizing the quality of the personnel recruited.
The primary aims of the AgrINAT project consist of:
-
Strengthening the long-standing ties that exist with the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia;
-
Solidifying the dual engineering degrees already in place and offering support for research partnerships via degree-granting international mobility programs in fields such as water management, land management, the fisheries sector, and the environment;
Enabling Tunisian students to access degree-granting international mobility programs in the best possible academic conditions by offering them top-quality support. The possibility of offering financial support to them is an integral part of this program.
