Student Organizations
February 11 2022Numerous student organizations and initiatives shape the lives of students across all AgroParisTech campuses.
Throughout its 200+ years of existence, AgroParisTech students have developed an impressive community life, with more than 50 student groups and clubs spread across its campuses. Whether their focus is athletics, art, culture, civic and humanitarian involvement, the culinary arts, sustainable development, prevention, or something else altogether, there is something to suit all tastes. Each month, from September to June, multiple events punctuate student life: conferences and debates, festivities, trips, tournaments, concerts, shows, etc.
This incredible wealth stems from strong student involvement and from AgroParisTech’s support in ensuring the success of their projects. Students are therefore encouraged to flourish while contributing to their education and additional skills, such as developing accountability, a team spirit, and management skills by organizing events, for example. AgroParisTech recognizes that involvement in student organizations is an important part of their achievements as a complement to the education they receive.
The Student Association (Bureau des Etudiants, BDE) is at the heart of student life. Its role is to pool together the efforts of all AgroParisTech student groups and club to speak with one voice on behalf of all students (engineers, apprentices, and master’s students) when addressing partners such as the school itself, businesses, and alumni associations.

The Société Hippique de Grignon is the college’s equestrian center on the Grignon campus. It provides opportunities for students to ride throughout the year.
AgroParisTech Service Etudes Junior Enterprise:ASE (AgroParisTech Education Department), in close collaboration with businesses, provides students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the professional world through professional projects throughout the academic year.
The Vitae Forum is a key event for companies and engineers specializing in Life Sciences. Each year, it brings together thousands of visitors and more than one hundred companies and startups. It acts as a valuable professional springboard for AgroParisTech students, and is an opportunity for companies to recruit new profiles.
Every year, in February-March, the AgroSIA association works with Comexpo to organize the International Agricultural Show in Paris. It also offers students the possibility to complete paid internships.
