Classes for Future Entrepreneurs
July 27 2022AgroParisTech engineering students have access to a broad range of mandatory and elective classes in economics, social sciences, and business throughout their curriculum (finance, accounting, marketing, innovation, management, quality, law, sociology, etc.). This allows future entrepreneurs to craft their own custom-tailored curriculum during their three-year program of study to reflect the expertise they will later need in these fields.
More specifically, two teaching units on entrepreneurship in the field of life sciences have been created: an introductory course in the first year of the engineering program and an “Athens” teaching unit in Year 2, where students can learn to create an entrepreneurship project through a hands-on situational approach.
Additionally, they can take part in a 6-month International Experience Certificate internship, a 3rd-year engineering internship, or even a 2nd-year Master’s internship by applying for National Student-Entrepreneur Status.
