Scholarship Students
22% of AgroParisTech’s students are need-based scholarship recipients;
22 students have been awarded an Erasmus grant;
and 20 students receive another type of scholarship.
With support from the AgroParisTech Foundation, the school is extremely attentive to the hardship faced by many students.
Apprentices
The school’s apprenticeship program is home to 132 engineering students, 19 master’s students, and 31 students working toward a Specialized Master’s Degree.
Apprentices do not pay tuition. They receive help with the costs they incur as part of their apprenticeship (travel and double accommodation expenses).
Middle School and High School Involvement
Every year, thanks to the dedication of more than 80 students, “AgroParisTech Cordées” course and career guidance groups offer special support to middle-school and high-school students. The goal of this initiative, which aims to serve the general interest, is to help young people better navigate their way into the professional world by introducing them to the world of higher education.

The Objectives of Cordées Course and Career Guidance Program
The overarching goal of the Cordées Course and Career Guidance program is to introduce greater social equality in access to higher education—particularly in selective programs. This social integration program is rooted in the following principles:
-
combating defeatism among students;
-
fostering/nurturing ambition among middle-school and high-school students from 8th to 12th grade whose potential is held back by an unfavorable social and cultural environment;
-
better understanding the difficulties faced by high school students from modest backgrounds to encourage their access to higher education and open the pathway to Grandes Écoles;
-
providing young people with access to broader inclusion in the form of cultural or athletic mentorship;
-
encouraging improved use of shared public spaces (green areas, urban farming, beehives, etc.) through expertise from our agricultural engineers to encourage the formation of social ties.
