Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed: Who is it for?
The Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed consortium is devoted to innovative French startups in the seed stage that are part of the Paris-Saclay ecosystem. They must be under 3 years old, be a vehicle for highly technological innovation, have completed a first round of fund-raising (currently or within the last three months), and be supported by a Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed partner.
Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed: What is the process?
The fund operates through accredited Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed influencers who identify and assess potentially valuable technologies and work in coordination with private investors.
Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed: What are its advantages?
Qualifying young companies can be granted the Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed label. This provides access to Bpifrance funding in the form of convertible bonds with a 2:1 ratio for funds raised below €250K. For every euro of private investment, startups receive two euros of public investment from Bpifrance in the form of convertible bonds.
With the Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed label, companies also receive support before and after receiving funding. This custom-tailored support is offered both by the Paris-Saclay French Tech Seed consortium and by its network of professionals, from the maturation to the investment phase.
