Émilie Lebrasseur is appointed director of training
December 12 2022Émilie Lebrasseur is appointed director of training at AgroParisTech as of November 8, 2022. She replaces Agnès Holl-Nicaud, who had held the position since 2008.
Émilie Lebrasseur is an AgroParisTech Engineer (class of 2010), with a Master 2 in Health Safety, Food and Environmental Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a Specialized Master in “Management of health and environmental risks” (ALISéE) from AgroParisTech. She started her career in 2011 as a project manager in the office for the management of signs of quality and organic farming in the directorate-general for corporate economic and environmental performance (DGPE) at the Ministry of Agriculture, Agrifood and Forestry (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty).
In 2014, she was appointed deputy head of the office for European and multilateral negotiations in the Directorate-General for Food at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. She was, in particular, responsible for defending French interests in the field of health and phytosanitary products in multinational organizations and with regard to the European Commission.
Émilie Lebrasseur joined AgroParisTech in 2018 as head of the Food, Health and Environment Executive Unit. She was, in particular, responsible for steering the “ALISéE” specialized master’s degree. Alongside this role, in 2020 she was appointed director of the Maine Center, home to 150 students and 70 administrative staff and faculty. In this position, she played an active role in moving the institution to the Palaiseau campus.
Since March 2022, Émilie Lebrasseur has also been steering the response of AgroParisTech to the “Future Skills and Jobs” call for interest, as part of the France 2030 strategic plan.
As head of the training department, which is the result of a departmental reorganization, Émilie Lebrasseur will be responsible for both the initial education and professional education departments. Part of this role will involve co-steering the reform of the engineering program.
